Display & History

1History Tape

Displays the results of your prior conversions and calculations.

2Result Display

A green background displays the result of a successful conversion or calculation. The unit and scale of the value is displayed to the right; the arrow tells you if the value is scaled up or down.

Units & Scales

1Measurement Scales and Units

Select the scale and unit of your measurement. The highlighted key tells you which button is active. You can change the active scale or unit at any time.

2Result Scale and Units

Select the scale and unit for your conversion. Just like with the measurement keys, the highlight tells you which button is active.

Special note: You can configure any of these buttons and even save them to your own custom calculators. The Setup button will help you with that.

1Edit Buttons

Reset the calculator or delete data.

2Setup and Help

Allows you to configure your calculator in many ways. Build and save multiple calculators for all your different project types.

3Operators

Use these to perform arithmetic operations. Select which types of operators to include in your calculator from the Setup button.

4Fraction Mode Buttons

Enter fractions using these buttons. Control how fractions are formatted and rounded from the Setup button.

5Number Key Pad

Enter values here. Use the Edit Buttons to make corrections.

6Result Button

Commit conversions and calculations. The green button color tells you that it is closely tied to the Result Scale and Units buttons.

Special note: In Scale-o-Tron context, green leads to conversion and calculation results. Gray buttons represent your measurements, which you can modify with blue operators. Red buttons are for editing or resets.
