Edit Buttons
The ⌫ button removes the last digit or decimal point during data entry. If all digits are removed, the display will revert to zero.
The AC button will only appear if you have included operators in your calculator (configurable from the Features option in Setup). Tapping it will erase any expression in progress and reset the calculator back to zero. The C button will clear part of an expression in progress and reset the calculator back to zero. To clear the rest of the expression, press AC.
The Fraction Clear Ladder
When working with fractions, the AC button will set every field of the fraction to zero. Pressing AC again will revert the display back to decimal mode. The C button resets the currently focused field first; pressing it again zeroes out the whole fraction, and once more returns the display to decimal mode.
In practice, you'll find the edit buttons intuitive to use — it's only this description that makes them seem complicated.
If you encounter a conversion or calculation error that presents an error message, press the AC or C button to reset the calculator.
